Smiling
Without so many tubes sticking out of her, she can finally smile at us. She's ready to be with mommy, but the intensive care unit wants her for just a little bit longer.

Vivian Ruth is, without a doubt, the prettiest newborn baby I have ever seen! And I have never seen a baby smiling while still in the hospital! She is a smart & happy little girl. We can already see that. Lucky you!
Chris and Eric, we know you are totally exhausted. It's not easy being parents but this was an unusally difficult start. My advice to new parents is always the same: NAP! NAP! NAP! Naps bring patience, more energy and a brighter outlook. Your lives will never be the same. In a few weeks, you will wonder how you could ever have lived without Baby Vivian.
Thank you for our new little great niece and, Eric, for the weblog updates - including pictures! That is very generous & thoughtful of you.
We are continuing to keep your little family in our prayers - for continued healing and strength.

Hi you two (now three)! Congratulations on the new arrival She is just perfect. I ran off a picture and will take it to work Monday to show her off. If I count right she is the 12th great grand baby for me. She sure is a pretty little girl. Arent they GREAT, thats why I had spo manyf them. I am the richest woman in Lafayette-I just don't have much money.

What a beautiful smile...I think she looks like herself, but she does have an old soul look, much as her dad did when he was newborn. I can hardly wait to hold her. Love you, all three!

What a beauiful baby.I was just surfing the net and seen her and thought I just say how pretty she is.Isn't the good lord wonderful for given us beautiful children? Well Iam sure glad all are doing well and congrats.
