Boating under Golden Gate

We capped off a day full of new transportation (including planes, trains, and busses) with a boat ride under the Golden Gate bridge and around Alcatraz.

In a few hours, the family and I are jumping on a jet to San Francisco for CatButt’s wedding. The area’s always been high on my list of places to go, so I’ve really been looking forward to the trip. Getting to see many old friends makes it all the better. I’ve done my best to get this place up and running before I go, so there ought to be pics and things from the road.

RIP, Old Tree

We had some strong winds come through on Saturday (45-60 mph gusts), and the old dead tree finally fell.
