Drive-in

Chris and I went to the drive-in theater over the weekend. It was the first time for both of us in many years. We saw Rat Race, and both of us enjoyed the extreme silliness. It was nice to see something besides the devestation on nearly every TV channel. This drive-in is closing soon, but unlike the rest which are vanishing, this one is being replaced by a new two-screen drive-in theater a bit further up the road.

  1. Me and T and the dog and a carload of friends went to the Drive In here about two weeks ago…just about 45 minutes down the road (like everything else). They were showing a quadruple feature…we only lasted through Rush Hour, Jurrasic Park, and The Animal. Great fun…and great mozzarella breadsticks. They are also debating closing versus adding a third screen and raising the prices. They’ve already outlawed bringing in snacks in order to raise revenues. Okay by me…I can put up the Two Bucks for the breadsticks.
