I've sliced it thin, about a quarter inch. I then sprinked the slices (placed on paper towels) heavily with coarse salt. I'll put another layer of paper towels on them, and then press them with about 40 pounds of pressure for twenty minutes or so. This will drive out much of the moisture and bitterness and make their texture resemble lasagna pasta.
